Description
Hudson River, Verplanck, N.Y., 1985
Tucker Crawford, one of the last remaining commercial fishermen on the Hudson River, came across a 210 lb nine-foot sturgeon entangled in his shad fishing net. Sadly, Monster Atlantic Sturgeon of this size has not been seen since the ‘80s. In 2012, they officially became a federal endangered species. This image is also available as a signed custom poster.
