When I raised my camera on a remote road in the northernmost region of Colombia, these two Wayuu women knew enough to react in unison. In many distant cultures, depending on their emerging conditioning, to be photographed was akin to having your soul stolen. Today, the process requires a financial fee.

This print is for personal usage only. It is intended for display in the home or private institutions.
